I didn’t know that about the method of homeschooling is called deschooling. That is very interesting. We use a blend of books and curriculum that we choose and have researched in conjunction with Deschooling. But in my opinion, it’s way better than sending our kids to a public indoctrinating system.

Oops, sent before I was finished. Unschool is using no published curriculum and letting the children learn what they want when they want. Not much of a teacher role of parent is involved. It’s an interesting concept. It’s a rare way to school. Sounds like you both do eclectic schooling which is a bit of everything, using lots of resources to teach and moderate.

Great show Jason. Always love the homeschool conversation. I decided on our honeymoon, camping up the CA coast in October, that we were going to homeschool kids that we had. 1992! 😏 Our kiddos are young 20’s now and appreciate that we did homeschool. Smart kids. Katie has great wisdom on schooling. She sounds exactly like our homeschooling world. I always told them and others who asked, the kids are growing in their God’s given gifts. The benefits of schooling at home. Prayers up for you both. God bless! 💛🙏🏼✨
